Circuit Garden — Online Arduino Circuit Simulator

Connect an idea. See what it does.

Circuit Garden is an online circuit and Arduino playground. Place electronic parts, connect wires and explore how a sketch interacts with the simulated circuit. Use examples, instruments and wiring checks to investigate a small system before making it more complicated.

Try a small experiment.

  1. Open a supplied example and run it. Identify the power, return path and component being controlled.
  2. Change one component value or one part of the sketch, then compare the result using a meter or instrument.
  3. Build a small circuit of your own. Check the wiring, choose the appropriate execution mode and export the project.

A couple of useful questions.

Does a simulated Arduino behave exactly like a physical board?

A simulator represents selected electrical and software behavior. Timing, peripheral support and component models can differ from real hardware. Read the active engine and library notes for the sketch you are trying.

Why start with a working example?

A working example gives you a reference circuit and sketch. Changing one thing makes a surprising result easier to trace to a wire, component value or line of code.

Know what the tool represents.

The native and quick execution modes have different capabilities. Check the Guide & API and pinned-library information. A successful simulation does not establish the electrical ratings or suitability of a physical circuit.
